Welcome to PE! I am Geoff Batten, and I am excited about being your PE teacher this year. This will be my first year at Murphy and I am ecstatic to be here. I have spent the last 17 years in fourth and fifth grade at Ralya, and I am thrilled to have the gym as my classroom this year. I will be teaching all the students at Murphy and some first grade PE at Wilkshire.
This year in the gym we will focus on working hard, being active, having fun, and being a good teammate. We will work on both individual skills and team games with an emphasis on growth and personal success.
This year some of the units we will work on include:
-Soccer
-Basketball
-Floor Hockey
-Softball, Whiffle Ball, Kickball
-Golf
-Volleyball
-Fishing
-Bowling
-Cooperative Games
