Welcome to Murphy Elementary's Title One Program

I would like to take this opportunity to introduce myself. My name is Jessica Harden and this is my fourteenth year teaching. I am excited to be the new MTSS Coach at Murphy Elementary this year and getting to know your child.

Here are a few things you might want to know about me. I am the eldest of two children (I have a brother). I grew up in Stockbridge, Michigan. I attended Oakland University in Rochester, Michigan. After completing my teaching degree in December 2006, I moved to Arizona. I taught in Arizona for three years. Then I moved to Florida and taught for six years. I got married in 2012. My husband and I had our first child, Brady, in 2013. Our daughter, Briana (Bree), was born in 2015. Our family of 4 moved back home to Michigan prior to my first year at Murphy Elementary. We also have a dog named Luna, she is 1 years old.

I have been in many classrooms over the last fourteen years and Murphy Elementary is by far the best place I have ever worked.  This year will be full of great learning experiences and I am thrilled to get started.
