A little bit about me…I am a graduate of Haslett Public Schools and Michigan State University-Go Green! This will be my 12h year teaching at Murphy Elementary. My wife and I have eight year-old twins, Payton and Parker, who are starting 3rd grade this year. Our youngest child, Tyler will turn four at the end of August. In our free time we enjoy being active outdoors, spending time with family and friends, and reading/learning new things. The summer has been full of these activities. I’m now looking forward to many more enjoyable experiences this school year.

A little bit about 4^th Grade…We have a great year planned with many fun, challenging, and interesting activities! This includes:

• Experiments and observations involving plants/animals, types of energy, and earth formations in Science.
• Learning about people and places around the world, Michigan history, money and economics, and government in Social Studies.
• Mastering multiplication/division and solving multi-step problems in Math.
• Continued development of our reading and writing skills in Literacy.
