MURPHY PTO
The Murphy PTO, is a group of parents, faculty and community members that meet to discuss and learn about the issues and events happening at Murphy. We are open to all parents and faculty. The Murphy PTO meets once a month. Please see the Murphy Calendar for meeting dates.
PTO funds the following activities:
- Field Trips
- Mileage Club
- Staff/Teacher Appreciation
- Weekly Readers
- Picture Person
- Proud Sponsor Books (1/3 funding)
- DARE T-shirts for 5th Graders
- 5th Grade Healthy Food Fiesta
- 5th Grade Tile Art Project
- Staff/Teacher Grants (money placed in account for every teacher to use for special projects or other classroom needs)
Volunteer Opportunities
Throughout the year we have several volunteer opportunities for our parents/guardians. In addition to helping out in the classrooms we have the following opportunities.
- Fall Fundraiser
- Book Fair
- Holiday Gift Store
- Science Night
- Courtyard
